The Ayurvedic Clock

This is the most important clock you will ever look at.

In order for your body to experience balance / health, you must be in-tune with nature. The simple logic is that we are of this earth and live on this earth, and are therefore affected by its seasons, its cycles and its nature. The more we respect this nature, the more balanced we will be.

For example, it is not about what you eat, but about when you eat it. Nor is it so much important how much you rest, but about when you actually get your rest.

The cosmos / nature is made up of the five elements [ air / ether / fire / water / earth. ] We too are made of these same elements. They make up everything we experience [ and how we experience everything - since they also show up inside of us ] and also show themselves at different times of the day. Everything is, after all, made of the same stuff.. literally, technically, figuratively and symbolically.

It's all the same stuff showing up in different form.

Vata energy is the combo of air + space.

Pitta energy is the combo of fire + water.

Kapha energy is the combo of water + earth.

Different times of the day are designed by nature for different things, since energy is everything and we are in fact affected by the nature we live in. Every living creature in the world rises with the sun and rests when the sun goes down - even flowers! It makes sense then that the times of day that we do the things we do matters too.

THE FASTEST WAY TO REACH BALANCE IS TO TUNE- IN TO WHAT NATURE IS DOING, AND TO ALIGN YOURSELF ACCORDINGLY.
