I have always believed every living thing has a soul, but it was never so clear to me as when I looked into the eyes of an elephant. 

96 Elephants are killed in Africa every day for their ivory. EVERY DAY.

Honoring these beautiful, peaceful, intelligent, loving creatures today.

This is Laxmi. She lives in a Temple in Hampi, outside of Hospet in Karnataka, India. If you hand her 10 rupees, she extends her trunk and gives you a blessing on the head.
